With joint engineering efforts accelerating on the Aerion AS2 supersonic business jet programme, Aerion and Airbus Group have announced that the latter will expand North American-based resources for the programme. Support from Airbus Group operations in North America will include engineering, procurement and supply chain management, logistics planning, programme management, and government relations. These resources will augment engineering support from Airbus Defence and Space in Spain.

Aerion is launching a selection process to find a factory site, and has appointed Inairvation to develop the cabin interior of the AS2.
