ASL-JetNetherlands has received a factory-new Dassault Falcon 2000LXS. The aircraft recently arrived at Antwerp airport, Belgium, on its delivery flight from Dassault's final assembly line in Little Rock, Arkansas, USA. The company will operate the aircraft on behalf of its owner but also plans to offer it for commercial charter.

The 2000LXS joins a Falcon 2000EX and will complement the recently-formed ASL-JetNetherlands Group's fleet, which also includes a Legacy 600, a Challenger 605 and a Citation Sovereign+. The latest jet features a 10 seat cabin divided in a four seat club section at the front, and a dining/meeting area for four along with a two seat club section in the back. It is equipped with a full galley in the forward section of the cabin and includes a microwave, an oven and an espresso machine, and also features a satellite phone, wi-fi and an in-flight entertainment system.

“So far, the aircraft has only performed a few training flights for the crew as well as a demo flight for the owner,” says project manager Maxime Wauters. “We haven't started real operations yet; they are expected to begin shortly. However, based on our experience with our other Falcon 2000, I'm sure it will prove to be a great aircraft, that is to say very reliable, cost-effective and appreciated by the clients.”

The group has also joined the EBAA, launched a new website and gone into business with Take Air to offer all business class scheduled flights between Antwerp and Zurich. ASL has acquired all the assets of JetNetherlands as part of its merger, which was announced in August 2014.
