Par Avion, now part of Microflite Group, has ordered two Tecnam P2012 STOLs to replace ageing types on its Melaleuca wilderness routes, bringing the Australian P2012 fleet to seven aircraft.

Western US sales of the Tecnam P2012 series, including Alaska and Hawaii, have been placed with Finnoff, with select Blackhawk Performance Centers handling maintenance.

The defining feature of the P2012 Traveller for this mission is its highly configurable cabin, which allows Props for a Purpose to rapidly transition between passenger transport, humanitarian cargo and medical evacuation.
