The Czech Police has signed for a Bell 412EPI helicopter which will be used for search and rescue missions, and will be the first of its kind flying in Europe when it is delivered at the end of this year.

“The Bell 412 EPI is one of the most reliable, rugged and versatile helicopters on the market,” comments Tomas Hytych, director of the Czech Police aviation department. “The new EPI tech-nology combined with an affordable total cost of ownership made the Bell 412 the obvious choice to accomplish our SAR missions. Bell Helicopter's customer service reputation and easy access to a service centre in Prague also played an important role in our decision.”

The Czech Police has been a long time customer, operating variations of Bell 412 aircraft for more than 20 years.
