HAITEC adds G650 line maintenance to cleaning and storage service

Germany's HAITEC Aircraft Maintenance has been approved to perform Part 145 line maintenance on the Gulfstream G650. The company already holds approvals from CAAs in Russia, the UAE, Azerbaijan, Bermuda and the USA for a broad range of Boeing, Airbus and Gulfstream types.

“Besides line maintenance for G650s, our Erfurt subsidiary HAITEC VIP Maintenance is now also capable of offering cleaning and storage for such jets in the heart of Germany. This capability brings an added level of convenience to G650 operators in Europe as the number of main-tenance providers with that approval is limited,” states ceo Frank Rott.

In 2014, HAITEC announced a three-year investment programme worth €30 million. The programme includes the establishment of HAITEC VIP Maintenance in Erfurt, the acquisition of the existing hangar H900 at Hahn and the purchase of surrounding property for the construction of a second 17,000 sqm maintenance facility adjacent to the current facility, which is set to be operational in summer 2016.

“We continue to widen the span of the MRO services we can offer to commercial and vip customers. In late summer, we are also expecting to receive our Gulfstream G650 approval for base maintenance,” continues Rott. “Our steady growth also puts us in a privileged position to offer new employment opportunities to qualified international aviation professionals in Erfurt and Hahn.”
