Slovenian operator Elit'Avia has invested in a Hawker 800XP, which it is using to complement its existing long range fleet. “Our philosophy at Elit'Avia is to have a mixed fleet that suits all of our many and varied customer needs,” says coo Puja Mahajan. “The 800XP works well alongside our longer range aircraft such as the G650 and Globals, as its size and speed provide great value on shorter missions.”

She says that the jet's performance so far has been exceptional: “We find the 800XP to be excellent in terms of dispatch reliability, and it is well-liked by customers who choose to charter it because its low operating costs and comfortable cabin make it exceptionally good value for money.”

At the moment the Hawker is serving a primarily African and European market with charter operations. It provides Elit'Avia clients with a combination of cabin comfort and speed, and the operator recently completed a major calendar inspection, meaning that the aircraft operates almost as new.

“This jet gives our customers greater flexibility and choice,” continues Mahajan. “Every customer is different and our aim at Elit'Avia is to deliver extraordinary service – that is easier if you have a fleet available that suits all of the possible requests that you may field.

“We've had a tremendously exciting 12 months. We opened our office and AOC in Malta last year and have added to our management and charter fleet with some brilliant aircraft, such as the G650. We believe wholeheartedly that perfecting our customer service is what makes the difference for Elit'Avia's clients and is why they partner with us.”

The company has been operating in Africa and Europe for close to 10 years, since its inception in 2006, and Mahajan says that its aim is to be the most admired and successful aircraft management, charter and travel services company in business aviation.

“We have had notable success in EMEA, particularly in Africa and Europe and our growth in the last 12 months is testament to that. “We believe our combination of outstanding aircraft and exemplary customer service offers our customers a very compelling package,” she concludes.
