VistaJet has extended its partnership with MedAire, an international SOS company, to streamline and strengthen travel safety protocols and offer enhanced benefits to its passengers. The MedAire travel safety solution offers medical assistance to passengers and crew, and also includes access to aviation travel security briefs.

“We arrange flights to over 182 countries,” says Nick van der Meer, VistaJet's accountable manager. “MedAire provides the information we need to assess and mitigate travel and safety risks for all flights. It also supports our crews with valuable traveller tools and alert notifications should an event occur which may affect their safety and that of the passengers while at their destination.”

Van der Meer also points out that the operator refers to the MedAire Trip Ready app and the analysis it provides when deciding whether to accept a flight and making the crucial 'fly or no fly' decision: “It has helped us support many business requests we originally thought we would have to decline due to a lack of general information.”
