After operating Citation aircraft for a number of years and being impressed with the reliability of the XL, Aviation Beauport md Maggie Barnes says that the Channel Islands operator has invested in the higher specification XLS+, which is now on its worldwide AOC. “We considered the XLS+ to be a leap forward in terms of passenger benefits and performance, and it has already been very well received by both crew and passengers,” she says.

The latest fleet addition is primarily operating in Europe but is also available for longer trips to the Middle East. It boasts innovative avionics, a 'dropped aisle' cabin, six reclining leather seats, a side-facing couch and an aft lavatory. The cabin contains four pull-out tables, four electrical outlets and onboard wifi.

Aviation Beauport also has a Mustang and a Falcon 2000LX. Barnes says that the XLS+ complements the existing fleet nicely: “We can accommodate up to four people for short hops in the Mustang, or several people in comfort in the Falcon to the Americas. The XLS+ will perform anything in between.”
