“In recent years, our industry has experienced significant turnover and changes, raising concerns about the adequacy of training for line service teams. Proper quality training is essential for maintaining safety and dispatch reliability. Our Paragon locations have been committed to enhancing team training programmes to address these challenges. This includes implementing our own specialised in-house Paragon training as well as collaborating with strategic partners like Polaris Aero and others to ensure we provide our members the best training resources and expertise,” said Crystal Kubeczka, president of Paragon.

Gulfstream and FlightSafety International created the Gulfstream Ground Handling and Service Training programme for line service technicians over 10 years ago. It covers all models of large-cabin and mid-cabin Gulfstream aircraft. By emphasising critical safety protocols, the programme aims to enhance dispatch reliability and operational efficiency.

The training modules include specialised content for Gulfstream's extensive fleet of G150, G200, G280, G450, G550, G650, G500, G600, G700 and G800 models. Through interactive courses, participants gain in-depth knowledge of the latest technologies and servicing techniques essential for handling these advanced aircraft.

“Investing in employee training is one of the best decisions an organisation can make. Seeing our team successfully complete the Gulfstream servicing training and applying their knowledge in the field has reinforced our unwavering commitment to safety and quality. This investment not only enhances our operational capabilities but also ensures that our clients receive the highest standard of service, backed by expertise and precision,” said Landon Jarvis, line service manager at Clay Lacy KSNA.

The training curriculum focuses on key areas such as:

- Aircraft handling: Parking, towing and mooring.

- Safety procedures: Walkarounds, fuelling protocols and snow/ice removal.

- Maintenance services: Lavatory and water servicing, window cleaning.

- Operational best practices: Practical demonstrations to ensure industry-leading safety and efficiency.

Michel Tohane, president of Luxaviation/ExecuJet, stated: "The successful completion of Gulfstream ground handling and servicing training by our team is a testament to ExecuJet's unwavering commitment to safety and service excellence. This achievement empowers our staff with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide top-tier service to Gulfstream aircraft, ensuring operational efficiency and enhanced customer experiences. We are proud to be part of this initiative and look forward to continuing to set industry standards in aviation services."
