GE Aviation adds Skyservice to authorised service centre network for CF-34 powered business jets

GE Aviation has added Skyservice Business Aviation as an authorised service centre to support GE's CF34-powered business jets. With locations in Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa and Calgary Skyservice will provide additional service and support options to GE Aviation customers.

Skyservice offers a multitude of aviation services, including private jet charter and aircraft sales, aircraft management, maintenance and full-service FBO support. As a GE Aviation Skyservice Skyservice will perform line maintenance inspections and routine installed-engine maintenance. This includes removal and replacement of engines and engine components, as well as repair and overhaul services. The authorisation will allow Skyservice to support GE's OnPoint engine service programme customers, as well as its new engine warranty.

"Skyservice is Canada's leading facility for aircraft maintenance services, so are pleased to add them to our Skyservice network,” said Brad Mottier, vice president and general manager of GE Aviation's Business and general aviation and integrated services organization.

Since its service entry in 1983 on the Challenger 601 business jet, the CF34 engine has earned an industry-leading reputation as one of the cleanest, quietest and most fuel-efficient engines in its class. These rugged, airliner-class powerplants set a new standard in corporate aviation for reliability and low maintenance costs.
