May 26, 2015
Jet Edge has added three new Gulfstream aircraft to its growing aircraft management and charter certificate, including a G550, GV, and GIVSP.
The newly delivered G550 and GV are to be based in Florida, while the GIVSP is based in Los Angeles. These recently added aircraft are coming onboard just in time to meet the uptick of travel as people start to plan their summer vacations.
“As the financial markets continue to strengthen, we have witnessed a surge in charter hours flown and large cabin aircraft sales,” says Bill Papariella, president and ceo of Jet Edge. “While the current market conditions continue to help drive new business, the company's operational platform, safety programs and our seasoned executive team of aviation professionals are the real reasons Jet Edge has seen double digit growth year over year.”
The Gulfstream GV (N300K) is based at FLL Fort Lauderdale in southern Florida, Jet Edge's third largest base of operations, and boasts a luxurious Aston Martin interior, crew rest area, separate back bedroom, forward and aft lavatories, and international WiFi.
The GIVSP (N450JE) is based in Van Nuys, California, and greets up to 16 passengers with a newly refurbished cabin, domestic WiFi, as well as a state of the art entertainment system.
The newly delivered 2015 Gulfstream G550 (N97FT) is expected to be based in Jacksonville, Florida and features a signature series interior, amplified international WiFi system, forward galley and rear stateroom, and can accommodate 14 passengers.
“The Jet Edge ultra long range fleet has grown to 10 aircraft including Global 6000s, G650s, G550s and GVs in the past 12 months,” says David Erich, chief operating officer of Jet Edge. “The ultra long range category has been a significant focus of Jet Edge over the past year, and it is gratifying to see the hard work of our entire team paying off.”
