Hawker Pacific, the leading aircraft sales and product support company in Asia, Pacific and the Middle East, has today signed a contract with Embraer Executive Jets to provide full maintenance support to Legacy 500 and Legacy 450 customers in the Asia Pacific region. This agreement comes ahead of the Legacy 500 midsize jet's entry into service in the first half of 2014. The Legacy 450 mid-light jet's certification is expected a year later.
Tony Jones, chief operating officer, Hawker Pacific Asia, said today's approval extends the company's already significant experience gained on the Embraer Legacy and Phenom family of jets.
"We have been working closely with Embraer to support their customers in the region since 2007. The addition of the Legacy 450 and Legacy 500 capability further enhances this relationship. With this new contract we are now certified to provide maintenance support to Embraer Executive Jets' complete portfolio, from the Phenom 100E to the Lineage 1000E.”
Edson Carlos Mallaco, vice president customer support and services, Embraer Executive Jets said: “The announcement of Hawker Pacific as an Embraer Authorised Service Center for the Legacy 500 and Legacy 450 is part of our broader plan to support customers upon entry into service of these aircraft. We have achieved a very high rating on our level of customer support service and we want our customers to continue feeling at ease, knowing that we have a very comprehensive support structure that enables us to effectively anticipate their needs, and to respond swiftly.”
Hawker Pacific is located at Chalet CD31 and 32, at the 2014 Singapore Airshow, located at the Changi Exhibition Centre, which runs from 11 – 16 February 2014.
