Emirates is mapping “uncharted territory” with its Airbus ACJ319 corporate jet

Emirates Airline is turning heads at this week's Dubai Airshow with its unique-configured Airbus ACJ319 corporate jet, which takes advantage of the aircraft's cabin cross-section and versatility to offer luxury travel options for highly discerning passengers.

Announced this August, the Emirates Executive service incorporates an exclusive cabin layout in the ACJ319 that features 10 private suites – all equipped with fully lie flat seats and a 32-inch high-definition LCD screen – which are complemented by an executive lounge at the front of the aircraft, as well as on-board shower spa and bathroom.

For Emirates president Tim Clark, the aircraft's interior design was configured to bring a higher degree of privacy and comfort for passengers, based on his own experience travelling as a guest on business jets.

“Of the people who have flown our ACJ319, they have been 'over the moon' about this particular departure from the norm – putting the suites in – and it's been hugely successful,” he said.
