Hawker Beechcraft Global Customer Support to open new India parts warehouse

Hawker Beechcraft Global Customer Support (GCS) today announced plans to open a new parts and distribution warehouse in Bangalore, India, to support a growing population of Hawker and Beechcraft airplanes in the region. GCS has signed an agreement with Airworks India Engineering Pvt, Ltd to operate the new warehouse, which will be stocked and operational in the next several weeks.

"Spare parts play an important role in customer operations," said Christi Tannahill, Hawker Beechcraft senior vice president, Global Customer Support. "We have purposely placed distribution centers and warehouses in locations around the world to ensure our customers can quickly obtain critical parts when they are needed. These strategic locations offer our network of authorized service providers and their customers rapid dispatching of parts, real-time tracking and round-the-clock availability."

Hawker Beechcraft holds nearly 60 percent of the turbine market share within India, including 83 percent of the turboprop fleet.
