April 2, 2026
GE Honda Aero Engines (GHAE) announced today that Straight Flight has been added to its global network of authorised service providers (ASP) for the HF120 engine, expanding maintenance and support capabilities for HF120 operators.
Straight Flight, an FAA Part 145 approved repair station based at Centennial Airport (KAPA) in Centennial, Colorado, will provide HF120 line maintenance and engine support services for the growing fleet of HondaJet very light jets. The addition of Straight Flight enhances GHAE's ability to provide high-quality, responsive support across North America.
"We are pleased to welcome Straight Flight to our global authorised service provider network," said Tim Varga, president, GE Honda Aero Engines. "Straight Flight's decades of experience, strong technical capabilities and commitment to customer service align well with GHAE's standards and will provide owners and operators with additional high-quality support options."
With nearly four decades of experience, Straight Flight continues to expand its technical capabilities through specialised training, tooling and direct access to manufacturer resources, supporting advanced propulsion systems such as the HF120 engine.
"This partnership reflects our shared commitment to excellence, innovation and customer support," said Mark Singer, general manager of Straight Flight. "By working closely with GE Honda Aero Engines, we are expanding our ability to deliver reliable, on-time and on-budget solutions while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality."
Straight Flight was named as a HondaJet authorised service centre (ASC) for HondaJet aircraft based in the U.S. northwest in January this year.
GE Honda Aero Engines' authorised service providers perform line maintenance and engine removal and support rental engine use for HF120 shop visits. The ASP network also promotes, sells and facilitates GHAE's highly regarded Engine Maintenance Care (EMC) programme, with customers utilising the ASP network for warranty and EMC services. The EMC programme delivers comprehensive coverage for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, parts, labour and rental engine support, empowering HondaJet operators to fly with predictable costs and confidence across the full engine lifecycle.
HF120 technologies include:
- A wide-chord, compound, swept front fan blisk with composite outlet guide vanes
- A high-temperature titanium impeller in the compressor for maximum pressure ratio and stall-free performance
- A compact reverse-flow combustor with single-stage air-blast fuel nozzles
- Advanced materials in the high-pressure turbine, a two-stage low-pressure turbine and a counter-rotating high- and low-pressure spool shaft system
Rated at 2,095 pounds of thrust, the HF120 engine sets new standards for fuel efficiency, durability, low noise and reduced emissions, with more than 600,000 total flight hours accumulated across operations in 18 countries worldwide.
