Seeking a transition to green aviation, MEHAIR has ordered 50 ME-1A amphibious aircraft from US-based Mallard Enterprises and FlyJet has signed for three.

MEHAIR is looking to operate zero-emissions aircraft on regional routes between land and water infrastructure and has ordered 50 Sirius Millennium Jets with an option for a further 50 units.

The regional airline will retrofit the clean engines to its fleet of wheeled and amphibious Caravans for last-mile connectivity across runways and waterways.
