Construction Helicopters views the Sikorsky S-61 as a great multi-mission aircraft, and it is currently engaged in a number of projects including for the Department of Defense in the US. It also flies a King Air 350.

Columbia Helicopters has entered an MoU with Brightwater UAG to support certain GE engines and the Sikorsky platform. It positions the company to support S-61 and CT58 types with logistics support and components.

VIH’s power fill bucket can fill at a rate of over 2,000-2,200 gpm in as little as 20 inches of water, in less than 20 seconds. It also boasts the ability to inject gel as required, thanks to Barracuda Environmental Solutions.
