Germany's Regional Air Express (RAE) has ceased all flight operations and put its fleet up for sale. Fabian Theis, ceo, says: "One Metro 23 was sold to OLT Charter and the other three Metros are for sale.
"They are currently hangared at the Muenster/Osnabrueck home base along with the sole Citation CJ1."
The company entered the executive charter market in 2000 and also operated wetlease schedule flights for other carriers. "The economic downturn in 2009 and the resulting loss of several long-term customers caused the shutdown," Theis says.
