Assistair Group, which reports that it handled around 10,000 passengers in the national Spanish airports in 2009, is looking to widen the customer base in 2010.

Catherine Gaisenband, ceo, says: "Generally most of our clients are European, but we have seen a shift in our customer base this year with an increase in the number of Russian, American and Middle Eastern passengers handled. They now account for about 25 per cent of the company's FBO business and we hope to increase our client base from areas such as the Middle East and the United State this year."
