Ocean Sky jets into the 22nd Bond movie

Ocean Sky has provided eight jets that will feature exclusively in the latest James Bond film. And the London-based company's fleet can expect a film career of its own. "Ocean Sky plans to repeat the movie experience," says Niki Rokni, director of sales and marketing. "Word has got around Hollywood and we're now talking with two other major productions."

EON Productions, which puts the adventures of secret agent 007 on screen, used an Ocean Sky Challenger 604, four Learjets, a GV, a Citation V and a Hawker 800 for the making of Quantum of Solace, the 22nd Bond movie.

Rokni says: "The film has particular significance because it will feature more jets than any other in the 46 year history of the Bond movie franchise. It is also 100 years since Bond creator Ian Fleming was born.

"It has been an awesome experience working with EON, they were an absolutely professional company, and they've been kind enough to write a letter thanking us and saying that we exceeded their expectations."

Ocean Sky has, not surprisingly, been sworn to secrecy before Quantum of Solace hits the big screen about the precise locations where its jets flew. However, its contribution is believed to have involved filming in at least one little-used coastal South American airport and at Farnborough in the U.K.

EON Productions confirms: "Ocean Sky is the exclusive private jet partner in the latest James Bond movie Quantum of Solace, currently filming at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire."
