CTC in talks with potential clients to expand executive jet operation's customer base
CTC Aviation Group is launching an executive jet operation from its Southampton, U.K., base.

CTC Aviation Group is launching an executive jet operation from its Bournemouth, U.K., base. Capt. Steve Billett, head of the new CTC Jet Services, says: "We have already secured a significant contract and commenced operations with a major global corporation to operate a fleet of Falcon 2000EX EASys and Hawker 800 and 900s. We look forward to working with both existing and new clients.

"The new operation is a turnkey service. All our clients need to do is ask us. We will then provide every element to complete that task: pilots and cabin crew, catering, operational support, management accounting and maintenance."

He adds: "CTC is in discussion with other potential clients for the EJS division which would result in additional aircraft being added to the fleet. A further natural progression will be for CTC to bring forward some of its innovative solutions now active in the training area. This includes cost effective type ratings and recurrent training, the provision of cadet pilots and type rating executive jet sponsorship schemes."

CTC believes that the widespread introduction of VLJs will provide further business opportunities.
