U.K. FBO operator FAL Aviation is adding an additional hangar at London Ashford airport (Lydd) in Kent and refining plans to run a helicopter shuttle service to Battersea heliport.

Melanie Blackman, customer relations manager, says: "Plans are well under way for attracting a fixed based twin operating helicopter company to provide transfers from Lydd direct into Battersea. We are at a development stage and still interested in hearing from companies who can add value to this business opportunity. We believe there will be great demand for a fast and efficient service to a location so convenient for central London."

FAL, celebrating its second anniversary, is attracting increasing charter traffic including business from Seagle Jet operating a CitationJet from the Slovak Republic and Capital Trading Aviation operating a King Air.
