Philip Louis Amadeus, whose Redhill, U.K.-based RotorMotion recently flew celebrities Kate Moss and Pete Doherty to Cornwall to celebrate the singer's birthday, plans to expand the company's managed helicopter fleet to seven.
"We now have six Agusta 109s making us, I think, the biggest charter operator of Agustas in Europe and we plan to add a Grand," he says. "Even with six machines we can almost guarantee availability even in the busy summer months," says Amadeus, who became an avid polo player after being introduced to the sport by a client.
RotorMotion, which flies tycoon Allan Sugar on the the BBC television programme The Apprentice, is used to flying celebrities ranging from top politicians to leading pop stars. "We are just an eight minute flight time from Battersea heliport, where we have established the top end of vip IFR helicopter charter as our niche."
