Edinburgh-based Exec Air Charter, launched nine months ago to service burgeoning business demand in Scotland, plans to target the leisure market.

Elena Torres, md, who set up the air brokerage after working for three years in the corporate aviation industry, has built her business through liaising with a range of U.K. charter operators and businessmen and their PAs.

"More and more businesses in Scotland are viewing charter as an essential executive travel tool," Torres says. "I now want to cater for the growing private leisure charter market."

Exec Air Charter is finalising arrangements with Limelight Access, a lifestyle management company. Exec Air Charter will arrange the private charter flights and Limelight Access will provide complementary hotel and ground transport services.
