Multiflight, which handles all general aviation and business flights at Leeds Bradford International Airport has moved into purpose built premises. Extensively refurbished, it includes a luxury passenger lounge and crew facility with comfortable seating, Sky TV, internet, wireless and briefing area.

The company provides flight training, handling and aircraft sales, management and maintenance. It manages five aircraft for owners including two Dauphins and there is capacity for further expansion.

"There is rising demand for charter services in the region and it is a logical extension of our business since our investment in a purpose built FBO," says Heather Cawthorne, Multiflight handling manager pictured (left) with other members of the team.

"The multimillion Pound investment by Multiflight and Leeds Bradford International has transformed the south side of the airport into one of the highest quality handling and maintenance facilities in the north of England," she adds.

The Multiflight FBO features a dedicated taxiway from the apron. Two barrel vaulted hangars cover 6,300 sq. metres able to house four Boeing 737-800 sized aircraft. But the facilities cater for all sizes from light aircraft to vip business jets up to 757s.
