Donated Honda CR-V provides air ambulance bad weather back-up
Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance service has been given a new Honda CR-V car that will be used when bad weather grounds its Bolkow 105 air ambulance.

Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance service has been given a new Honda CR-V car that will be used when bad weather grounds its Bolkow 105 air ambulance.

The spacious four wheel drive utility vehicle, a gift from Honda (UK), will also provide rapid response in local emergencies, transporting casualties to the relevant specialist hospitals.

Nicola Howkins, director of the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance Trust, says: "There was an urgent need for a vehicle specifically allocated to the airbase and we are extremely grateful for this donation."
