Eclipse and Swiss-based Aviace are in legal dispute over an order involving 112 Very Light Jets. Aviace says it is suing Eclipse for breach of contract for allegedly refusing to deliver the aircraft ordered in 2002.

Aviace says it has had to shelve plans involving clubs and fractional ownership units. But Eclipse says that Aviace planned to sell on the ordered aircraft making it a direct competitor to the Eclipse factory sales team.

Aviace has filed a motion in a U.S. district court in Albuquerque.
