"It has a quiet, spacious interior and excellent visibility. It also increases the opportunity for Aeromega to more effectively operate in Northern Europe. The heliport in Central Paris is only 90 minutes from Battersea Heliport."

Aeromega, established in 1979 is based at Stapleford Aerodrome some 15 minutes from Battersea Heliport and the centre of London.

White says: "We are very much a city operator ideally placed to serve passenger charter demand and also able to meet the needs of the media, filming and photographic industry."

He adds: "The new addition will greatly enhance our charter capabilities particularly in the vip IFR sector. Our existing charter clients have come to expect the flexibility that an IFR service provides and the introduction of the Agusta 109 Power will greatly improve our ability to deliver a fast, point-to-point,

service both day and night and in most weather."

The company's fleet currently consists of two Twin Squirrels and two EC 120s.
