Chapman Freeborn Airchartering has opened new offices in Turkey to provide a "bridge" between Europe and Asia. The main chartering office is in Istanbul with an operations, repping and supervision office in Ankara. The operations are a joint venture with Chapman Freeborn Turkish associate Airmark/Airline Marketing & Services. Regional manager Adnan Duran says. "We will be undertaking further passenger and executive charters, ACMI and subcharter and leasing." He adds: "This is a great opportunity for Chapman Freeborn to build further bridges and expand our reach into the Central Asian market which is traditionally a region that is regarded with some caution by customers, operators and brokers alike."
