Lucy Clements is happy in her work as a sales manager with flight support specialists Jeppesen. But her ideal job combination would be corporate jet pilot and racing driver. Lucy, 29, is working hard to be chosen as one of the 16 finalists in the Formula Woman International racing championships.
She said: "I have a great job, a private pilot's licence and I have passed the City and Guilds Aviation Studies Course. My ambitions are to race in the next Formula Woman championship and to become a corporate jet pilot."
Lucy, 29, sales manager, general aviation, UK, with Jeppesen, flies for pleasure and has chalked up
more than 70 hours fixed-wing flying. Her next target is a commercial pilot's licence.
More than 2,400 trialists entered for the Formula Woman championship this year. Lucy is in the chosen 100 from which the 16 finalists will be selected for the final which will be held at four sites in the UK between 29 July and 24 September.
