FAL Aviation based at London Ashford Airport in Lydd, Kent, has launched an "off peak" business initiative to attract charter operators. FAL md Zaher Deir said: "Operators in the London area are, to a greater or lesser extent, under pressure to avoid flying nights and weekends because of flight restrictions. We don't suffer from these things - and, in fact, we encourage use of FAL facilities outside normal hours and at weekends."
