Adam Aircraft is addressing a two-year backlog as sales demand increases in Europe and its home market of the US. President Joe Walker says Adam Aircraft has more than 358 orders and that delivery dates for new orders have been pushed into 2009.
Walker predicts that there will be a demand for about 400 very light jets (VLJs) per year for the owner-occupier sector.
He said the A700 would complete its Type Certificate by the end of this year with deliveries soon after. Walker added: "There's been a great deal of interest in Europe." The A700 can fly up to eight people between key destinations in Europe.
