Cambridge-based Marshall Aerospace has announced that it is in early discussions with Landmark Aviation to create a 'next generation' business aviation centre at Cambridge City Airport in the uk. The development follows Landmark's announcement at NBAA last year, when it confirmed aspirations to enter Europe.

"Designed as a blueprint model where service and capability will be lifted to a new level; by working together we see our joint capability elevating the standards of business aviation," commented Dean Harton, vice chairman of Piedmont Hawthorne Holdings, Landmark's parent company.

Discussions will continue throughout the month and the company is hopeful that a contract signing will follow soon after. "Landmark will come to Europe regardless," said Harton. "In Marshall we have found an organisation which understands our aspirations and matches our needs."
