Signature Flight Support has won the concession to operate an FBO at Robin Hood Airport in Doncaster, Sheffield. Signature's facility will be the airport's first business aviation centre offering dedicated parking for passengers and aircrew, separate lounges and an operations room.

The operation, which is scheduled to open on May 1 will provide customs, immigration and Special Branch assistance; passenger ground transportation coordination; and discounted hotel accommodation bookings.

"General and business aviation will be a key component of Robin Hood airport's further development and will add to the already established passenger and air cargo arms of the airport's business activities," said David Ryall, md of Robin Hood airport.

The addition of Robin Hood Airport brings the number of Signature's worldwide locations to 81, including 46 in the US, 20 in Europe, and one in Africa.
