AirCell and EMS Satcom are collaborating to formally validate and integrate EMS's eNfusion HSD high-speed data terminals with the Axxess satcom system.

The alliance gives Axxess customers high-speed data capabilities and ensures the two systems can be installed and operated. Testing is expected to be complete in May 2006 with the first bundled version of the systems to be available immediately after. AirCell has also introduced next-generation handsets for its ST 3100 satcom system. Certification and first shipments are scheduled for this summer and the handsets feature a full colour display, active noise cancelling and an internal phone book. They are available in three colours and four styles.
