Dubai's Eastern Skyjets has been granted a UAE air operators certificate by the General Civil Aviation Authority.
As he presented the certificate to Mr Tariq Khan, business group director of Eastern Skyjets,
His Excellency Mr Mohamed Ghanim Al Ghaith, director general of the General Civil Aviation Authority praised the approach and professionalism demonstrated by the company in securing its long-standing goals to operate in this region.
He described Eastern SkyJets as a competent operator, capable of meeting the extensive technical and operational criteria and having the appropriate infrastructure and organisation committed to a safe air charter service.
Eastern Skyjets has been operating in this region since early 2004, using a fleet of corporate and private aircraft.
