Helicopter charter firm Heli Partner has taken delivery of a Eurocopter AS350 B2. The company-owned aircraft has already begun operations from its base in Sitterdorf, in the east of Switzerland, where the company also trains its pilots and crew.

It will be used for a range of activities including wedding flights, sightseeing tours, photography and aerial work in Switzerland and abroad. And because it is an ‘all-round’ aircraft, the firm is confident that the response from its customers will be positive.

According to Heli Partner’s Celine Hefel, the firm chose the AS350 B2 because the helicopter had a ‘good price to performance ratio.’ But she admitted that the company did not consider any other aircraft type “because it is perfect for us.”

The helicopter seats six people – four behind the pilot and one beside the pilot. The company also operates a Robinson R44 and a Robinson R22, but has no plans to add further to its fleet.
