Jeppesen has joined forces with partners Swissphoto Group, Technical University Darmstadt and Swiss-Jet to research and demonstrate high precision terrain databases and 3D synthetic vision systems displays.

During a recent demonstration flight, a team of Jeppesen executives, including president and coo Mark Van Tine, flew a Swiss-Jet helicopter southwest from Zurich through the Swiss Alps, operating the aircraft in visual meteorological conditions and comparing various levels of terrain data derived from different generation methods.
