CJ2+ scores FAA certification
The FAA has granted type certification to Cessna’s Model 525A Citation CJ2+, after just 80 flights and 190 flight hours, bringing the aircraft a step closer to customer delivery.

The FAA has granted type certification to Cessna’s Model 525A Citation CJ2+, after just 80 flights and 190 flight hours, bringing the aircraft a step closer to customer delivery.

The CJ2+ will serve single-pilot operators and offers significant enhancements over its predecessor in terms of both performance and specifications, including a 300 pound weight increase, enabling operation in a weight environment of single pilot plus 1,800 pounds.

The aircraft can climb to 45,000 feet in 34 minutes at maximum takeoff weight, cruise at 413 knots at 31,000 feet and has a range of 1,550 nautical miles.
