Let's Fly aims to boost Czech charter with B200
Czech Republic-based charter operator Let’s Fly has acquired a Beech 200C. The aircraft, which was previously registered to a German company, was added to the fleet in order to boost the firm’s presence in North Moravia.

Czech Republic-based charter operator Let’s Fly has acquired a Beech 200C. The aircraft, which was previously registered to a German company, was added to the fleet in order to boost the firm’s presence in North Moravia.

Director Martin Lubojacky told EBAN that the aircraft’s operational range and flexible interior configurations are key attributes that encouraged Let’s Fly to purchase it.

“We decided to buy this type of aircraft due to costs suitable for market building in our region,” he said. “Another reason is the variable interior, which offers a commuter configuration for nine passengers, vip for six passengers, as well as medical transport and cargo.”

The King Air is based at Ostrava International Airport – on the country’s Eastern border – and will primarily fly business clients to locations within Europe. The company has four main charter customers and expects utilisation to reach 500 hours per year.

Let’s Fly is a member of the Central Connect Group (CCG) and, with its sister company Job Air, it operates L410 Turbolets and a pair of Saab 340s for scheduled passenger and cargo work, as well as a Cessna T303 Crusader for air taxi work. The company also provides training services with its Piper Seneca and Aztec, and the fleet looks set to grow further.

“We are now preparing analysis for an aircraft which should be delivered next year,” said Lubojacky.

Although Prague is the key business aviation location in the Czech Republic, Let’s Fly believes that there is a much wider market to exploit.

“Presently, the main base of charter flight operations is in Prague, but the charter market in our region is growing and we have noticed interest for various categories of charter flights, so we will be prepared to provide solutions to our partners.”

The company operates a general aviation hangar and office building at Ostrava Airport. The facility features a pilots’ lounge, briefing room, classrooms, instructor room and an L410 UVP simulator.
