CMC Electronics has added PilotView to its Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) product portfolio. PilotView is an avionics-grade Class 2 EFB consisting of two LRUs – a self-contained electronic display and processing unit (EDU) and a companion power and expansion module unit (EMU).

The EDU features a high-quality, fully dimmable display that CMC says provides readability in all cockpit lighting conditions and a touch-sensitive screen. It provides the user with access to functions such as electronic charts, performance calculations, weather applications and video surveillance.

The unit uses a single integrated connector to interface with the EMU for aircraft power and additional expansion capabilities.
