Eagle Helicopter has taken delivery of an AS350 B3 helicopter. Dreieck Industrie Leasing owns the AS350, which is the second helicopter it has leased to Eagle. The first was a K-Max, which it leased to the company three years ago.
The AS350 needed only minor maintenance before it was delivered to Eagle, to ensure it complied with national regulations and to meet the customer’s requirements. It will be used for transport and logging purposes within Switzerland and can accommodate up to four passengers.
According to Mike van Berkel, owner and managing director of Swiss Aviation Services, which represents all of Dreieck’s aircraft financing, there is not much competition in the country for helicopter leasing companies. Dreieck Industrie Leasing and Swiss Aviation Services recently celebrated their first year of co-operation in the aircraft leasing field.
Dreieck, Credit Suisse Leasing and GE Capital are the three main companies that handle aircraft leasing in Switzerland, van Berkel claims. “We know helicopters and we know how to run things on the helicopter side,” he said.
Dreieck’s fleet comprises a Piper Seneca III, Pilatus PC-12, Cessna Citation Excel and an EC120 Colibri.
