ACE 2026 - The home of global charter.
The bimonthly news publication for aviation professionals.
Oxygen-4 is the latest entrant to the UK’s charter brokerage sector. The company started trading on March 1, founded by directors Mark Green, Rod Glassford and Steven Jack.
Green believes that it has entered the industry at the ideal time, now that business aviation has fully stabilised, and the upward trend looks set to continue.
“There have been lots of brokers entering this market recently, however we decided that this year is the right time, which was reinforced in Geneva as EBACE highlighted how positive the industry is following the deflation of the last three or four years.”
Green believes that it will still take some time for business aviation to return to the ‘heady’ days of 2001, but the rise has been apparent since the beginning of the year.
“One factor that really shows through is the lack of availability for last-minute flights, particularly on wide-body aircraft like the Challenger 604, Falcon 900 or the Gulfstream range. This points towards an excellent future, and there are lots of new aircraft entering the region this year, which should make availability easier to cope with.”
Oxygen-4 has noticed that the most buoyant markets presently are in Russia and the UK (particularly for leisure flights), and that the Asian market is ‘up and coming.’
