London Executive Aviation (LEA) has reported significant growth in UK executive air charter.
The company’s turnover for the 12 months to March 31, 2005 was £8.8 million, an increase of 27 per cent over the previous year.
This represents a 15 per cent rise in total flights in addition to an increase in the average length
of journey.
“LEA’s strong growth indicated that a step change is underway in the executive aviation market,” says LEA’s chief executive Patrick Margeston-Rushmore.
“We are seeing a shift in European attitudes toward private air travel. It is now less seen as a luxury for the idle rich and a more vital tool for the overstretched executive.”
