Satcom 1 improves operations
Satcom 1 has made two significant improvements to its system operations. In an effort to improve customer satisfaction and reduce the cost of running its digital network system, it has introduced a system that indicates whether a channel is connected or disconnected, to allow the customer to switch the system off when it is not in use.

The company is also offering European customers a one-number dial facility for ground to air calls, so US customers will no longer have to dial a US telephone number when calling the aircraft.
