Swiss-based operator G5 Executive is set to expand its charter fleet. “In early 2006, we will enter a brand new G450 into our commercial operation. Again, we believe this will the first commercial aircraft of this type to be offered for charter,” said ceo Peter Fried.

Swiss-based operator G5 Executive is set to expand its charter fleet. “In early 2006, we will enter a brand new G450 into our commercial operation. Again, we believe this will the first commercial aircraft of this type to be offered for charter,” said ceo Peter Fried.

“This will fit nicely in line with us being the first commercial operator of a Gulfsteam GV and of a G550

last year.”

Further additions are planned later in the year: “A second G550 is due to be delivered end of 2006. Obviously, should the market require more capacity, we will evaluate other options as well.”

The company plans to decentralise its fleet, basing more aircraft on different continents, in order to operate more aggressively on the ‘one-way’ market.

In June, the company received its second Legacy, which it operates for a sole client.
