“We own most of our aircraft and manage a few,” director Mikael Oscarsson told EBAN. “We also help our customers with the acquisition of aircraft.”
For several years, Sonnig operated primarily in Europe with its Citations, serving charter requests throughout the rest of the world with the Sabreliner. Having noticed increasing demand for long-range travel, the company has since diversified its operations.
`“We feel the market is intensifying and the demand for long distance private luxury jets is expanding
due to the evident advantages of these aircraft, such as security, convenience and, of course,
service – not to mention that the acquisition of an aircraft is now a sound investment.
“As such, we have chosen the Challenger as our core aircraft for long distance flights and the Citation V as our core intra-European aircraft.
Both aeroplanes have proven records of safety and reliability. The Citation has above all a very low
maintenance cost.”
Most flights are operated with a cabin attendant, something which Oscarsson believes to be very useful for frequent flyers.
“We can pride ourselves on our very high quality of service, since our staff know all the needs of our regular passengers and can thus foresee any requests.
“It is thanks to our loyal customer base and outstanding staff, who understand exactly the needs of the customers and the company, that we can continue our expansion with our minds at ease.
“Since time, service, quality and flexibility are the priority of our passengers, we are constantly
re-evaluating our service to maintain and even increase our level of service.”
