G150 completes first flight
The Gulfstream G150 has completed its first flight. During the four hour and 13 minute flight, the aeroplane climbed to 20,000 feet and achieved a maximum speed of 250 knots, the pilots tested the aircraft’s flight handling qualities, aircraft systems and landing gear and flap/slat facilities.

The aircraft, which was designed and built at the company’s manufacturing plant in Tel Aviv, will fly its final phase in Dallas.

The G150 is powered by two Honeywell TFE731-40AR engines, enabling it to reach speeds of up

to Mach 0.85 and an altitude of

45,000 feet.
