Gulfstream Aerospace has reduced the price on 6,000 parts for its GII and GIII aircraft.
The reduction represents a potential cost-saving to its customers of $15.8million.
This latest move, which applies to a variety of parts from gaskets to auxiliary power units, builds
on the company’s ‘Meet the Quote’ and competitive parts price-matching programmes, which were implemented over the past 18 months.
A spokeswoman for the company said it was too early to determine the outcome of this initiative. “If it is similar to past price reduction programmes, we expect the results will be positive,” she commented.
