Aviation Partners has sold 30 of its Hawker 800/800XP Blended Winglet Systems, since its certification in the US last year and Canada in March 2005. Vice president of sales Gary Dunn said that EASA certification was imminent and announced plans for an installation facility in Europe. The winglet technology offers 18 kts faster cruise at any given fuel flow, a 2,000 foot boost in initial cruise altitude and reduced engine emissions.
